WARNING FOR VIOFO CAMERAS AND GERMAN VEHICLES
VIOFO makes amazing cameras, but they are not a good fit for German vehicles due to their thicker cables which often result in gaps or bulges in panels.

VIOFO wires are much thicker than FINEVU, and THINKWARE and also have a massive bulge (circled in the photos below on the right)
That is why they can lead to gaps or bulges in panels in some vehicles and not allow for the cleanest installation possible.
VIOFO makes the best 3-Channel cameras in the world but for two channel, FINEVU, and THINKWARE (except the U3000) is a much better choice.
If you wanted to proceed with the info, we would most likely install it on the driver side as shown in the photos above.

FINEVU and THINKWARE (except the U3000) are an excellent choice for all German vehicles, as the wires can be seamlessly ran into the mirror housing on the passenger side making it practically invisible because they have very thin wires and no bulge.
